
Romualdo Richichi
Romualdo Richichi graduated with honors from the University of Milan in 1999 after completing his classical studies at the Parini High School in Milan. He earned a PhD in Roman Law and Comparative Method from the University of Ferrara in 2023. He was admitted to the Bar of Milan (Ordine degli Avvocati di Milano) in 2004. He was admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) in 2017.
Since 2004, Romualdo Richichi provided both out-of-court advise and litigation assistance throughout Italy and abroad, covering matters involving private clients, with particular reference to legal separation, divorce, child custody and maintenance, marriage property regimes, inheritances, contracts, property law, issues related to the status and capacity of individuals, child relocation, Hague Convention cases, and guardianships.
Romualdo Richichi has gained extensive international experience in dealing with matters foreign to the Italian legal system, such as trusts and prenuptial agreements. He has handled cases involving, among others, the jurisdictions of England, France, Germany, Spain, Monaco, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United States, Canada, Israel, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Since 2020 he is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). He has been appointed as court expert on Italian law by foreign judicial authorities. He authored the Children international relocation Law and Practice and Trends and Developments guides for Chambers and co-authored the guide to Italian family law for Legal 500.
He has published extensively, both on Roman law and on family law.
